Becky's stacking rings
Becky booked in to see Jo, one of our designers to see what she could do using her gold and stones.
We weighed out the gold and silver that Becky had and looked at what stones she had to see what we could design.
Becky liked the idea of stacking rings so you to interlock and wear different rings depending on what she was wearing.
Once we decided the design we discussed having the rings hand-made or cast.
Due to not having much metal it worked to have the rings cast as less metal was required.
As we were casting we created a CAD so Becky could see what the rings would look like and were able to calculate the correct amount of material needed.
The design was to have two gold rings which would set blue stones in and the other ring would be in silver with a diamond.
I was really pleased that Becky loved her stacking rings, we can make something old into something new and have the memories. I always love being able to create these pieces of jewellery as a designer.
