Margaret's Garnet Ring
Margaret and Derek came to join us in January for our garnet event. They were interested in having a new ring made for her to wear.
They had a lovely time at the event and had the opportunity to look over an array different colour garnets including, rhodolites, tvsorite and spessartine.
Margaret had her heart set on a rather lovely cushion cut rhodolite
So we popped it aside for her and invited both Margaret and Derek in for a Design Appointment with designer, Abi so they could choose how they would set the stone.
They had an old 9ct yellow and rose gold watch chain that had been inherited but was sitting in a jewellery box, perfect for remodelling into something new!
Our goldsmith, Derek melted down what he needed to create the ring from the watch chain and the mixture of the two tones of gold created a really lovely warm yellow tone which complimented the purple tones of the rhodolite.
Once Derek had created the ring and set the stone it was time to collect!
And the ring looked abolutelty stunning on her!
