Rachel
Rachel had a selection of different sized sapphires that she was interested in having put into a new ring.
She knew that she wanted it to be completely bespoke and unique. Something that nobody else would have.
Together with our designer Natalie, the two of them chose a delicate signet style design, with the sapphires graduating from smallest to largest across the top of the ring..
Yellow gold was the perfect choice for these gorgeous sapphires as the contrast in colour really mades the sapphires ‘pop’.
Natalie then went away and arranged a computer aided design to be completed so that we could see how the design would look.
Rachel was extremely happy with the concept, so we got to work making this unusual ring.
It was cast in one of our casting workshops, hand finished and hand set. We chose a pavé setting, which is a very secure style of setting, in order to best protect the high quality sapphires.
The finished ring definitely meets the design brief of completely bespoke and unique. The whole Petra Team fell in love with this unusual and contemporary piece of jewellery.
And as it turns out…
…Rachel fell in love with it too!
