Judy's pendant
Judy had a beautiful old cut diamond cluster ring that she just didn’t wear.
Her friend had told her about a pendant she recently had made at Petra Jewellery for her daughter’s wedding so they both came in together to see what could be done with the ring.
Judy loved the idea of having her own special pendant so she and Rosie came up with a way to convert the ring by melting down the shank into a bail.
Rather than just a simple V shape bail, our goldsmith, Behzad suggested we make it into a bit of a feature and mimic the setting style but adding a cut out.
Behzad got to work on transforming the ring and then our wonderful setters went over the stones to make sure they were secure.
The finished pendant is just as spectacular as the ring but now it will get worn and enjoyed so much more.
