Karen
Karen came in to see the Petra Team to look at remodelling her husband’s diamond signet ring in to a beautiful solitaire diamond ring. Karen also had a collection of other rings that she no longer wore and wanted to include them in her new ring.
Karen worked closely without designer Beth to come up with a classic 6 claw set, single stone ring.
Together they looked at different ring samples and different setting styles; Karen instantly fell in love with the classic 6 claw setting style.
Behzad, our master goldsmith, started by melting down Karen’s gold to create the new shank. He then used new platinum to creat the beautiful floral designed collet in which Karen’s diamond would be set into.
The setting was designed to allow lots of light into her diamond to maximise the sparkle.
The finished ring was beautiful. The improved setting style really maximised Karen’s diamond and made it look bigger - which is what every woman likes!
