Debe
Debe got in touch with the Petra team as she was looking to have a a pendant made out of her and her husband’s wedding rings.
Sadly, Debe’s husband had passed away and she wanted a special piece of jewellery that she could wear ever day to keep her husband close.
Debe knew that she wanted something simple that she could wear every day and together with our designer Beth they came up with a “Polo” shaped pendant design.
To give Debe’s pendant a personal touch we decided to incorporate the diamond cut detailing from Debe’s wedding ring on the front of the pendant and engraved her wedding date on the back.
Once Debe agreed the design, her rings were given to our master goldsmith Behzad for him to work his magic on.
To start with Behzad melted down Debe’s rings and created a sheet of metal, from which he then cut out a polo shape and filed the edges to meet the design specifications.
Once Behzad has created the pendant, we then sent it to our master engraver Ian for him to add on the diamond cut finish and the date to the back of the pendant.
Once we had received the pendant back from Ian, Behzad gave the pendant its final clean and polish before handing it over to Debe.
Debe was left speechless when she saw the pendant and was surprised at how beautiful the finished piece was.
