Brenda

Brenda came to see us because unfortunately her husband’s ring had gone missing.

All she had was this photo, and wanted to have an exact replica made.

She worked together with our Manager Natalie to have a good guess at the dimensions and size, so that we could get the new ring as close to the original as possible.

Natalie then worked with our goldsmith Behzad to put together a sample of the ring for Brenda’s husband to pop in and try on to make sure that he was happy that it was exactly like the original ring. After a few small tweaks we were ready to set the diamonds.

Our setter then got to work setting in the three diamonds.

The star design around the diamonds were engraved by our expert setter. He uses specialised tools to get the engraving perfect which gives the illusion that the diamonds are bigger, so even though we used large, top quality diamonds, they now look like they sparkle even more!

Brenda and her husband were over the moon with the finished piece. It is a stunning example of how our goldsmith and setter work so brilliantly together to come up with such exquisite pieces of jewellery.

Losing a treasured item can feel like the end of the world. But if you are unlucky enough for this to ever happen to you, please rest assured that we are here to help to recreated the pieces for you so that you do not need to be without them for long.

It was a pleasure working with Brenda and her husband to recreate this stunning piece. I learnt so much about the star engraving and am so happy that they were happy with the finished ring.
