Lesley
Lesley had inherited her mums beautiful diamond ring but it was never going to fit her so she wanted to design something new using the diamond and some other unworn jewellery that she could wear every day.
During a socially distanced consultation with our designer Natalie, Lesley let us know that she definitely wanted to incorporate hearts into the design.
This is because hearts represent her mum and dads love and their 60 very happy years of marriage, and Lesley wanted to be reminded of this every time she looked at her new ring.
Lesley and Natalie eventually came up with this unusual design.
The design makes the unusual diamond the centre point, and wraps hearts around a modern milgrain wave design throughout the band.
Two of Lesleys other diamonds were then set into the sides of the collet giving it extra sparkle from all angles.
Such an intricate design wouldn’t have been suitable for a handmade job, so we decided the cast the piece using Lesleys metal.
It was then hand set and finished by our expert team.
The possibilities are endless with casting. You can go as small as you like and add really intricate detailing to your bespoke piece.
Lesley loved the finished ring.
It suits her and her style perfectly and succeeds in reminding her of her parents every day.
