Clare's wave pendant
Clare came in and had a design appointment with Jo.
She wanted to have a piece of jewellery made that would represent her family and something to pass to her daughter in the future.
Clare had gold and stones that were from her and her Grandma’s jewellery and wanted to incorporate these together.
The inspiration for the design was the sea and sand as this had a lot of meaning for both her and her late Grandma.
The design Jo came up with was a wave pendant to represent the sea and then to set the stones cascading down like the sand and pebbles falling.
Clare loved this idea so Behzad, our goldsmith created the pendant.
Once the pendant had been made using a mix of Clare’s gold she came back in and we played her stones on it to see how it would look.
After we decided on the stone lay out, the stones were set and pendant polished all ready for Clare.
