Ali's eternity ring

Ali and Andrew came in to see Jo to design her eternity ring.

The journey continued for Ali and Andrew as over the years they have had their engagement and wedding rings designed and made by us.

Now, after having two lovely children, they decided an eternity ring was needed!

Ali wanted to wear her eternity ring on her other hand but still to see a connection between her rings.

The most important part was the ring was to represent the whole family and so to do this we looked at birthstones…

So the stones that were chosen were:

Diamond - Ali

Emerald - Andrew

Peridot - Toby

Citrine - Felicity

We thought it would be nice to also include a couple of sapphire too as Ali’e engagement ring has sapphires.

The ring was to be made in platinum to match her other rings so they could be safely worn together.

Once we selected the perfect stones, in we laid them out on the design, to see how the stones and colours would work together.

We hand made the ring, incorporating a literal ‘twist’ from the engagement ring, and once we had it we set and hallmarked the ring with a final polish it was time to ask Ali in to collect her ring.

Ali brought the whole family in to collect the ring with was lovely to see them all and for them to see the ring together for the first time.

I love the ring it was even better than I thought and I love have it works with my engagement ring and each of the family are part of the ring.
