Ann's remodelled diamond stacking ring

Ann had a design appointment with Rosie to discuss what to do with her gold and her diamonds…

She had already seen a few contemporary “stacking” rings with asymmetrical designs that she liked. She had a mixture of white and yellow gold that were all different carats.

We can mix together different carats if they are the same colour but we can’t mix yellow and white when we melt, so Ann liked the idea of incorporating the two tone idea.

Ann also had some beautiful diamonds in these rings that were all slightly different sizes, which is actually perfect for the kind of ring she wanted!

Rosie drew up a design to incorporate the diamonds and the mix of golds and we ended up with an illusion stacking ring (where all of the bands are actually joined together) with one of the bands and all of the rubover settings made in white gold to make the diamonds pop!

The rings were then given to our goldsmith, Behzad to melt and turn into Ann’s new ring!

Behzad made the four separate bands and handmade the settings to fit the diamonds perfectly. Then the stones were set before we joined the rings together and gave it a final clean and polish…

The ring is absolutely stunning and Ann’s diamonds look beautiful!
