Andrea came in to see the Petra Team to discus remodelling her beautiful diamond engagement and eternity ring.
Andrea liked the idea of combining the two rings together to make a new engagement ring. Andrea worked with Beth to come up with a contemporary rubover set design that incorporated the beautiful princess cut diamonds from Andrea’s eternity.
Our goldsmith Behzad set to work making Andrea’s new engagement ring. Behzad started off by unsetting the diamonds from her existing rings and then melted down the two rings and began to form the mount for Andrea’s new engagement ring.
Behzad made a classical rub over basket that was designed to sit perfectly up against Andrea’s wedding ring.
Once Behzad had made the mount Andrea’s ring was sent to our setter for him to set into the diamonds.
It is safe to say the finished ring was beautiful.
