Rosemary's pearl ring
Rosemary was looking to remodel a lovely pearl necklace into something a bit different and wasn’t sure where to begin.
She sat down with one of our designers, Abi and discussed what she would like to do with the necklace.
The necklace had a beautiful yellow gold clasp set with a white pearl and diamonds, Rosemary wanted it to be reworked into a ring she could wear and enjoy rather than leaving it in her jewellery box.
Abi drew up a halo ring design with Rosemary’s clasp as the head of the ring, set with matching diamonds on the shoulders.
Once Rosemary was happy with the design it was time for our goldsmith, Behzad to get making!
He reduced the height of the original clasp so it would sit comfortably and securely and created a matching shank to compliment the width of the original diamond settings.
Once he’d given the ring a quick polish up it was time to get it sent over to our setters to have diamonds set into the shoulders.
The finished piece looks incredible.
It’s always a pleasure creating such lovely pieces which can be worn and cherished everyday.
