Remodelled wedding ring

One of our recent customers was looking to renew her wedding ring. She had worn the ring for many years but it was time for something new as the band was worn and beginning to snap.

She sat down with Abi to look at some ideas for remodelling her existing band and decided she wanted to keep the metal from her original ring and have it combined with new metal to make her new wedding band.

Once she was happy with the design of the new ring our goldsmith, Behzad melted down the 9ct white gold ring with new 9ct bullion.

Once a bar had been made, Behzad then created the band.

It was then sent off for a rhodium plate and a hallmark.

White gold requires a rhodium plate as it is not a naturally occurring white metal. When we make bespoke pieces using white gold the pieces are entitled to a yearly plate and polish.

It looked beautiful and was ready to be worn with her freshly polished engagement and eternity rings!
