Mavis
Mavis’ Husband had very sadly passed away.
It can be so difficult to decide what to do with a loved ones jewellery when they have passed. Mavis brought his wedding ring and signet ring to us to see if we could make something new for her to wear every day.
After a discussion with our design team, Mavis decided to add in her own wedding ring, to create a brand new wedding ring that incorporated all three of these cherished rings together.
As she just wanted a simple band, Mavis wanted to find another way to make the design her own and make sure it was a suitable reminder of the time that she and her husband spent together.
Between her and her daughter, they decided to have her wedding date engraved on the inside of the ring to remember the day that she and her husband started their journey together, and ‘Mum’ repeated around the outside to commemorate the family that they built together.
After a final polish by our goldsmith, the ring was ready for Mavis to collect.
Now she can wear all three rings together, in her beautiful new wedding ring (and she also asked us to repair another of her rings so that she can wear that every day too!)
