Laura's diamond engagement ring
Laura got in touch with the Petra team looking to have her engagement ring given a new lease of life.
She sat down with Abi to look at how the ring could be repaired so it looked like how she remembered it.
Abi showed Laura some different options for a new centre stone, including a selection of natural and lab grown diamonds.
Laura was very keen to have a lab grown diamond in her new ring, having never heard of them before she was fascinated how these diamonds are cultured in a lab as opposed to traditional diamonds which are mined out of the ground.
Once Laura was happy with her chosen stone, a brand new platinum collet was attached to the existing ring shank and the diamond was set in our workshop.
Laura came in to collect her ring as a birthday treat and she was delighted with the finished piece!
