Joanna needed a shaped wedding ring to fit around her engagement ring.
Sometimes engagement rings are not suited to having a flat band next to them. Here at Petra Jewellery, we are experts at building shaped wedding bands to fit perfectly around your engagement ring.
Joanna had some diamonds from an unworn ring that she wanted to use in her new ring, so popped in to see our designer Natalie. They agreed on a pointed curve with the diamonds pavé set in graduating sizes with the largest diamonds in the centre and the smaller diamonds further down the band.
After a couple of appointments to lay out the stones, Joanna was happy with the design.
To build a shaped wedding band around an engagement ring, we will need to take the engagement ring in to ensure that they both fit perfectly. Our master goldsmith built the ring to the exact specifications we gave him, and then altered it ever so slightly to ensure the perfect fit.
The finished ring looks perfect alongside the engagement ring, but is also a stunning piece in itself so can be worn separately, which is hugely important for a ring for life!
