Jess' new opal ring
Jess had a beautiful ruby and diamond ring that she loved…but she wanted something to wear with it to make it pop even more.
She came in to see our designer, Rosie to discuss what could be made and they had a chat about the possibility of incorporating some beautiful opals.
Initially, Jess wanted diamonds and opals alternating in a shaped eternity style ring but after getting some stones in to view and laying them out together, she decided she like the opals best on their own.
So we came up with a design and added a few details like a milgrain edge to add a vintage touch.
We used Jess’ ruby ring when creating the CAD so that the two rings would fit together perfectly.
The finished ring is gorgeous and you can really see the rainbow of colours that come from the opals in the sunlight…
