After a long and perfect relationship and two beautiful children, Dale decided that he wanted to ask Bernadette to marry him.
He came in to see our designer Beth, with a really clear idea of what he wanted.
Together they designed a cluster design with a large diamond in the centre surrounded by smaller diamonds, and diamonds set along both shoulders.
Beth then went away and ordered a variety of centre diamonds for Dale to choose from. When he came back in it was an easy choice. He chose the biggest and best quality diamond as he wanted the absolute best for Bernadette.
As the diamonds in the shoulders are ‘micro claw set’, the only choice for the metal was platinum as it is much stronger and harder wearing than gold. Our manufacturing team built the mount around the amazing centre stone and set the diamonds in perfectly.
Dale was over the moon when he collected the ring. It was exactly what he had pictured when he thought about asking the love of his life to marry him.
And clearly the sentiment was shared, as she said Yes!

Sally had used the diamonds from some sentimental inherited pieces to make her engagement ring but had a beautiful emerald cut aquamarine that was too beautiful to put back in her jewellery box.
Sam and Molly were looking to come up with some ideas for an engagement ring for Molly. Molly had an idea of what she wanted but was keen to see a couple of stones to get a good idea of what she liked.
We had some 18ct gold leftover from Heather’s ring that we wanted to incorporate just a small amount of to tie the rings together. Then the bulk of Mike’s wedding band was to be made from a very special charm…a solid gold dog house.
Her friend had told her about a pendant she recently had made at Petra Jewellery for her daughter’s wedding so they both came in together to see what could be done with the ring.
