Ann's memorial ring with ashes.
Ann came into for an appointment with one of our designers, Jo.
As she wanted to do something with her late husbands ashes and have they put in some jewellery.
We talked about what style of jewellery she would like and what she would wear all the time.
After we had the design of the band with a hammered finish. The next step was making the ring.
We invited Ann to come to the workshop and meet Behzad the goldsmith who would make the ring.
He melted Ann’s late husbands piece of jewellery, while she watched.
Once the gold started to melt, Ann came involved as she poured the ashes into the melting gold.
Once the ashes had been added and then cooled.
Ann got to hold the gold bar with the ashes before it was made into the ring.
The ring was made then made and Ann was able to come back in and collect it and she put it straight on her figure and was delighted with it.
