Amy and Dan

After proposing to Amy last year during lock down, Dan decided it was finally time to get Amy a proper engagement ring.

Dan and Amy booked a design appointment with our design Beth to talk through different options and to have a look at different sample rings.

Amy had a pretty clear idea of what she wanted for her engagement ring and really loved the idea of incorporation amethysts in her ring as her favourite colour is purple.

During their design appointment Bet showed Amy and Dan a couple of different ring samples along with our different shaped diamonds samples.

Amy loved the idea of going for a cushion shaped diamond as her centre stone as it was still classic but a little bit different to a round diamond. To incorporate the amethyst Beth recommend going for a pair of pear amethysts to be set either side of the centre diamond.

Once the design was agreed Beth went away and put together a design drawing of Amy’s engagement ring and sent it over to our CAD team for them to put together a 3D drawing of the ring.

Both Amy and Dan fell in love with the design.

Beth then went away and contacted out gemstone and diamond supplier and asked them to send over a selection of amethysts and diamonds for Dan and Amy to view.

Sadly due to lock down restriction we had to carry out the stone viewing via Zoom - which was a bit different.

Once Amy and Dan has chosen their stones all that was left to do was to make Amy’s ring.

I think we can all agree the finished ring is stunning and both Amy and Dan were speechless when they collected.
