Claire's colourful bangle
Claire and her partner came into see us with a box of jewellery and a collection of very colourful gemstones…
She booked an Afternoon Tea Design Experience, so they got to enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea whilst Rosie designed something to incorporate an array of beautiful stones.
We had a sort through all of the pieces, some of which belonged to Claire’s Nan, so Claire wanted to create a piece that would remind her of her Nan.
We liked the idea of a bangle as it was something solid and simple that she could wear everyday, but would also give us the freedom to incorporate most of the gemstones!
Once we had taken Claire’s size, we knew exactly how much space we had to work with…so we started picking out stones!
Claire wanted the piece to be colourful and use as many different colours as possible so we played around with a few different arrangements until we had the perfect one.
Then Rosie drew out the design and ordered the stones so that Claire could give her approval!
Once Claire was happy with the setting arrangement, she gave us her silver and we started the work! The bangle was handmade by our wonderful goldsmith Behzad and the beautiful stones were set by one of our expert setters.
After a few weeks, the bangle was ready…
Claire came to collect the bangle and was thrilled! Claire had mentioned that her Nan was quite a colourful person and the bangle would definitely be something she would wear.
